Yesterday felt real good. Played a match of soccer with some design guys. Law team kicked ass.... I played for most of the match. 7-3 final score. it was 2 weeks since i last played soccer, so ran my lungs out. hahaha, surprise i still can run! I run an ah beng down! wahhaha. I did! I really did!

Haiz, unhappy that something like that has to happen.
Still.....what can we do about it?

So as you can all see, pretty much jam packed to the max.

Went to jalan kayu today to savour some prata..with shawnzie, R-fen(thats how christina lim calls fn), linntodak and of cos gemuk gemuk tak scan... thats about all that was interesting today.

We were observing an old lady cleaning a toliet.

She asked : You think she enjoys her work? (referring to the old lady)
I said : No. ( alittle too fast and assertive . i really dislike menial and monotonous stuff)

She said : What makes you think so?
I said : I dont know. I would not say she dislikes her work. I just think she does not enjoy it. (unsure of myself)

I said : I think she does not enjoy it. can you imagine doing the same thing everyday for the rest of your life?
She said: : But we are also already doing the same thing everyday repeatedly.
I said : erm , not really compared to her ( not very convincingly)

I said : Did you know that ' ***************' knows all their names?
She said :mm-hmm.... (nods head)

after a short pause

She said : Then why does she still work?
I said : Necessity. Perhaps she needs the money. or perhaps she is one of those people who cant settle down. Those people who need to work till the day they die.

she seemed to accept this. So i let it drop. or rather, she did.



10 mins later.


She said : I really want to talk to her sometime..




I was really suprised. I really liked that.

But perhaps I should not be. She always has caught me off guard repeatedly. So no big deal I guess. I am KENTAL.

anyway, anyone thought about that? Why do old people work? For the money? To get rid of the boredom? A habit? I really dont know. But sure as hell I wouldnt like my grandma to work like that.
Wait, but of cos she works.
It slipped my mine.
My grandma would kill if we objected to her having a full time job.
she works to supplement her allowance from the family.
She is a FULL TIME MAHJONG PLAYER.....yea, and a damn good one too.
so i think she is working. No CPF tho.


Oh yea, by the end of this entry, the problem has been solved. The thing has been sign, sealed and delivered.

Gotta go read some convey stuff now. Dont wanna fail if i can help it.

Closer or further. Thats the question to ask. A friend asked me about it.
Will something that has gone so far away be any nearer after going so far away after such a long time?
Will something that was bought momentarily closer be closer in the time to come?
Perhaps distance is just a concept. It wont change. Further or close, does it make a difference? It is , after all still there. If something exist, does it matter if its very far away or just next to you?

I reckon it doesnt. However it does not make it easier.
