it took me a whole day to think about it.
thats why it came one day late.
er yea. now you know why its one day late.
nothing short of fucking brilliant.
steel horse.
to get or not to get?
about a month back.
i rode a steel horse.
i've ridden pillion a load of times.
The first time i was scared shitless.
but adnan was riding it. thats why i was scared shitless.
then i got use to it.
100+km/h on kenny's, mumbo's and hanif's on the highway to hell.
no freaking problem.
cept for the shifting helmet.
Then my bloake wira got his.
and he took his pride and joy over one late evening for a couple of cigs and supper.
he offered me a ride on his steel horse.
It was a offer too much to give up on.
Pronto we headed to a empty parking lot in the middle of the night.
wira had a kawa. =]
wootz.
the fact that the horse was in a shade of metallica green was loss on me.
kickstarted the motherfucker.
Rumbled into life, the steel horse buckled under my balls rearing to go.
with a twist of the right wraist, the baby gave a low growl rising into the shriek of a banshee.
and i was grinning like a mad fuck.
clencing my left fist, with a deft flick of my left foot, i put the babe into gear.
coax my right wrist downwards, releasing the grip on my left fist, it moved off.
feet onto the footrest, i took off.
I was moving. ever so smoothly. a sensation hard to describe.
*alright, time to shift gears like what wira said. (read: i have no fucking licence.)
left fist tighten, left foot flicked ever so softly upwards. release pressure on left fist.
the bike lurch eagerly. the engine tone changing in sync with the grin on my face.
wind in my hair, its a great experience. no helmet? nevermind lar.
lets go darling. alil more power. i coaxed my right wrist ever so slightly downwards.
picking up speed, all rational thoughts were abandoned.
lets do one more gear change. i mean, why not?
repeat execution. easily done.
bike moves ever faster.
wooooooooooooooooooooot!
vroooooooooooooooooooooooom.
riding a motorcycle is indeed a great experience.
driving a car never did bring as much joy and andrenelin as riding a bike.
even in an empty car park, riding a bike is waaaay more fun then driving a car.
its about poetry in motion. coaxing the bike into a turn is akin to dancing with a partner.
and this partner doesnt step on your toes nor refuse to let you take the lead.
it does what you expect it to do. except with more panache and more pace than you expect.
and with great style no less.
it's just great =]
but then....
listening to johan's horror stories about motorcycle accidents....
really. scares the shit outta me.
being single.
was talking to mu'izz on msn just now.
was telling him how great it was that azlin could accompany him for his appointments and physio sessions at the hospital. (he had his knee operated on. me him are crocked. Me him on MC. )
and so he starting shitting on me about my male macho swining single talk (or which he referred to as "male macho posturing" whatever the fuck it meant) that i always dumped on him.
and how i called him names liked "handcuffed" "henpecked" "one-gina" "whipped" and other assortments of male degrading terms.
and so we proceeded to discuss why I'm how I am today. single.
and to our discussion and my points which muizz totally agreed on.
1) im too fucking picky.
2) i dont even bother looking.
3) i abhore being responsible to someone
4) i hate people being on my back and on my case all the time. (dont deny it. females are possesive! and naggy!)
5) I dont like being tied down. it irks me. (marriage? wots that?)
6) too much of a free spirit who does whatever tickles my fancy.
so there. if you have any other unsavory comments about me being commitment phobic, please feel free to add. Im open to comments and criticism. but dont expect me not to retort you in a vile and uncivilized manner cos thats what i do. in most cases =]
oh shite.
its 5:57am.
gonna hit the sack now.
nites guys.
